Danna Farms normally makes their first cutting around April 1st. The crop is then typically harvested every 30 to 35 days. The last cutting is normally around October 1st. Danna Farms bales most of their alfalfa in 100 pound bales and sells primarily to local horse and livestock owners along with dairies.
